WELCOME TO FOSDAF
The analysis of constraints on African development has revealed that the main shortcoming in the mainstream strategy is that development is granted rather than being a product or an output from within. The obvious solution is to reverse this dead end trend by educating the poor to create their own wealth rather than struggling against their poverty. The Foundation has undertaken to translate that conclusion into strategy, that is, educating the grass-roots community’s self-building capacity to take charge of themselves.
To that end, it has elaborated a vision and designed a synergetic projects framework geared to spurring a structural change dynamic in selected communities, as a guideline for future interventions.
In our strategy the implementation partner does not carry out any of the Program components. Its role only consists in educating the target groups’ capacity to implement the components by themselves, while ensuring an effective monitoring for the desired outcome.
We have taken the challenge of promoting the self-building capacity and the self-funding capacity of our brothers and sisters. We rely on them to meet it.
